Norma Wilson, MSW, LCSW
Therapist & Owner

Norma Wilson is a bilingual, Spanish speaking licensed clinical social worker and therapist. She received her Master of Social Work degree from UNC Chapel Hill in 2009. Norma has experience providing outpatient counseling to both English and Spanish speaking individuals, families and marital couples. She also has experience working in the hospital setting providing crisis intervention, grief counseling, substance abuse assessments, resources, nursing home and hospice placement.

Norma’s experience as an outpatient therapist and as a social worker make her the ideal therapist. She is well versed in providing services to all populations from infancy to the geriatric stage. Currently she spends her time researching resources available to those who are under-served in her community. She considers it an honor to be a resource and advocate for justice.

She is not only passionate about providing uplifting-life changing tools to those who receive her services but she also enjoys engaging in conversations with people from all walks of life in order to better understand their story.  Norma takes pride in being raised in California by Latino parents who taught her the value of hard work, the beauty of diversity and the joy of showing grace to others. The three pillars that represent her include passion, realness & joy. Her sessions entail providing compassion to her clients, her heart is to hear their story & guide them to freedom. She is 'real' in her sessions as she believes that honesty should be done in love, and that in order to move forward one must be real about their struggles and victories. She believes that laughter when appropriate brings healing. In her sessions she makes it lighthearted and a joyful experience to those she serves.

Her hope is that when you leave Revive Counseling & Wellness Center you will experience the freedom that you need to fulfill your purpose on this earth.
